and so Kim K, Queen B didn't disappoint me, filed for divorce after just 72 days..thats 2 months and 12 days...classic...

so really what could have happened in 2 months when you should still have been in marital bliss that you immediately filed for divorce.

Divorce oh, no be seperation..haba Kim! you must think we are really daft to think that all of this wasn't planned for the tv and to get more endorsements.

I think she just got tired of the guy and said "look, fuck it...i'm getting out, my fans will understand"

but her fans revolted big time...
insults came pouring in at her and her mum Kris tried to do some damage control...

anyways i am not buying it, i knew this was a farce..all for her show and i knew it wouldn't last..i just thought at least it would last for longer than 6 months.


and now she's here blowing kisses and what?

i saw the cutest picture of victoria Beckam and her cute, chubby little baby and i couldn't help smiling.

yes me knows they are white and worth like more than 68 million dollars... or whatever...


but it's so refreshing to see how chubby baby Harper is...

i am so glad Victoria isn't applying her bulimic/anorexic lifestyle to the lil angel.

Andy Whifield of Spartacus - Blood and Sand is dead

I started watching Spartacus because of my colleagues in the office, they kept going on and on and on about the series and anyone who knows me knows that i am a series junkie, so while they warned me about the graphic sex scenes , violence and nudity, i watched some bits of it and became hooked to the storyline.

So i heard today that the leading actor -Andy Whitfield died of non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in Australia on Sunday, Sept. 11.
yes i never knew him but it touched me because prior to this he was an almost unknown actor and he brought a huge part of himself to the show.

So they have cast another actor with an uncanny resemblance to him to play his part called Liam McIntyre [First picture attached]

He will be missed.

beyonce's baby bump

for those of you that doubted that Beyonce was really preggies..although i doubt if anyone actually doubted that.

here she is with her baby bump revealed while on a luxury vacation with her boo-hoo[free mason] husby...buahahahaha

She's like 5 months here and i must say she looks stunning for someone in her 2nd trimester, i would love to see her in her 3rd trimester though...

anyways, that's why i like oyinbo people [ i know technically Beyonce is black but it's so obvious that the babe is trying so hard to be white], they are so open..see her revealing her linea negra and her baby bump for all the world to see and in her case when i say all the world, i mean all the world.

I mean her preggies announcement generated the largest twitter hit thus far 8,000+ twitters per sec.. so she is one mean lady...

anyways i wish her the best of luck and the sweetest pregnancy...

the other day i was reading some of my usual blogs and i found this rather interesting conversation between Tontoh Dikeh and Linda Ikeji, one of the more famous gossip blogs and i had to have a good laugh about it.
and for you guys that are too tush to watch naija movies i.e Nollywood TV, Tontoh is one of the more controversial babes that is also quite pretty and well spoken.

Many people have frowned at her choices of movie characters and roles but who am i to judge, i mean the babe is just living her life.

Anyways the Twitter conversation went thus:

Queen B status

Before i start this post that i do not hate Kim Kardasian , while i kinda envy the babe for being so exotic looking , it is quite annoying that she is such a queen B, she behaves as though she no dey shit, as if she no dey squat to piss..lol. i tend to gravitate towards people that are real, i am a Sandra Bullock sorta girl.
Anyways, she recently just got married and i read on one of my "gossip blogs" that her husband "Kris" actually wanted her to move in with him and she told him that his place was like a dorm room and she couldn't downgrade her life like that. That the dude needed to get a better place.

I like it when women know what they are worth but that statement really irked me, the guy now told her that she was out of touch with reality.
and i immediately fell in love with him.

Most times when as a lady you are so independent because your business is so successful, it's easy to live in your own world. you are oblivious to the world of others. To people suffering, to the reality of life, which is that sometimes it can be a bitch.
You tend to live in this glass bubble that you think can never burst. You feel almost invincible.
and one day it will burst.. one day you will be humbled, one day you will realise that yes while you have angels guarding you as a child of God, life sometimes is just that ....life and it can disappoint.

Anyways, i guess for her she can always live the Queen B status of fancy cars, plush hotels, designer clothes, nannies and rich dicks....

the other woman

recently i was reading online and discovered that Gabrielle Union [ who is one of my fave black actresses] is dating this hunk of a guy.

Now this guy is a divorcee and has 2 boys, so basically when they hang out, she hangs out with the boys.

So she is introduced to a world of kids almost immediately.
Although they have been dating for 2 years now and he obviously feels comfortable around her for the kids to be hanging out with them.

It reminds me of this Nollywood film that i somehow watched in passing, the other wife resented the man's kids so much that one day she almost threw the boy away and wanted to pretend he was kidnapped.

It takes a lot for a divorced, bereaved spouse to find a partner that will genuinely like his/her own kids. I have heard stories of lovers killing or beating their other partners kids..both locally and abroad and it saddens my heart.

The other woman is therefore not determined by the mood of the male organ especially when kids are concerned, infact when kids are concerned it all depends on how the kids feel about the other woman.

Although in Gabrielle's case, i am sure to keep that chocolate whipped something in her bed, am sure she'll love the kids with all her heart and mind...

It's a man's world anyday, anytime

i love Al Pacino, for a lot of reasons, he was spectacular in Scarface and he just represents this genre of actors of the olden days.
Anyways, recently, the old man was at an award show of some sort and he had his 31 year old girlfriend with him.
May i mention that he is 71 years.
I mean at 71 years, does the male organ still rise to the occasion, can he even still get it up? Talk more of thrusting? SMH
It really baffles me.
Anyways, like i said, it's a mans world, men still get young women, no matter how crinkled or saggy they get. It doesn't matter if they can't even perform in the sack. Just as far as they own cash and are willing to be adventurous.

women on the other hand are called cougars, sugar mommies and are frowned at for keeping a younger lover and i wonder at the double standards.

but what are the advantages to having an older lover:

- he looks at you like his child, so he doesn't feel the need to appease his ego..therefore he spoils you rotten
- he never says no to you
- you can have another lover and he won't know...hehehe

will and jada smith crash and burn?

heard from the rumor mills that Jada pink and will smith's marriage is in trouble.
heard will smith walked in one day while trying to suprise his precious wife and found her "watching a dvd" with her Hawthorton co-star Marc Anthony.

Somehow i find this so ridiculous, why would i leave a Will smith look for a mousey little man with no money and a funny accent..abegiiii..Jada must have some serious issues if this is true.

But i am closely following this story via all my best gossip blogs and i shll update accordingly.

Vampire Diaries

i don't know what it is about "vampire diaries" that has me hooked. Initially i thought it would be the same old boring vampire flick but somehow it actually exceeded that.
I have some friends though who would stone me for saying this but it happens to be the truth..lol

So it has a cast of fabulously gorgeous men..the women...hmmm, not so much.
Anyways, there is one of the guys there that actually intrigues me just and only because his acting is so on point.
Ian Sumerhalder [who plays Damon Salvatore] has this crazy eyed look going for him, now note that i am not a film critic, i just say it as i feel it.

So i can barely wait for the 3rd series to hit the screen, i hope they don't break my heart..*hehehehe*

mismatched

I used to think that to dress corporate casual, you had to dress in shirts and trousers, preferably TM Lewin or Hauwes and Curtis. So like forever, you would see me donning an overpriced work shirt and some hip hugging trousers with stiletto heels.

But then I was introduced to the world of frilly pretty tops, pencil skirts, dresses and cardigan tops.

I was introduced to the world of girly dressing.

With girly dressing comes a lot of flexibility to just be you and explore that fun part of you:

1.colors are in: this simply means that no longer should we be tied to the solid boring colors of blacks and blues[navy blue to be exact], you can mix red's with green's.

2. Cardigans help give a fresh look while hiding the "christian mother" arms *wide grin*: Cardigans are another wardrobe essential that i just discovered, you can rock a fabulous sleeveless blouse with a brightly colored cardigan to work and appear chic while appearing professional.

3. Color blocks: Its the new fashion hit..color blocking, this fun dressing is achieved by mixing 2 complimentary colours like pink and green or something that normally we would look at as weird..smh. It's a fun trend though so i am definitely rocking it as best as i can.

i am starting a post series where i will add pictures of my friends/colleagues/acquaintances that inspire my dress sense.

Hopefully it turns out to be fun..

jumping the broom

i just watched this really superb movie called "jumping the broom" and i must say that i was pleasantly surprised.

of course i think it was also the gorgeous cast that had something to do with it and i am so glad, it had none of the old stereotypical "fine men" like Morris Chestnut, Shemar Moore or Taye Diggs.

It was refreshing to see some new fine chocolate brothers..*wide grin*

Also one of my best white female actresses was there..and no it's not Jennifer Aniston even though i love her. I am talking about Julie Bowen...
the lady that acts "Claire " in Modern Family which by the way is one of my best series.

So back to the movie, it highlighted what most mother-in laws go through, the heartbreak of supposedly losing their sons to another woman.

I never really understood the reason why mother in laws were so mean to their daughter-inlaws until God blessed me with my beautiful son.

My son is my world, i absolutely adore him [and his father of course..lol] now he hasn't started talking yet so he depends on me for everything, clings to me and loves me so much.

so imagine one day another woman will now come into his life and start giving attitude[and yes, that's what wome are good at doing- subtle disrespect] after i changed his diapers, got peed and pooed on, slept in the hospital with him, cried with him, loved him as though my heart was going to break. i am telling you i am sure i will do worse than what Jason's mom[played by Loretta Devine of "waiting to exhale" and other great black movies] did

but i do pray that i get a sweet, humble, beautiful, hardworking and respectful daughter..oh Lord have mercy..... lmao.

Rewind

i saw Vina in an entertainment blog recently and i couldn't help cringing, cringing because i believe looking clean and classy is actually cheaper than looking tacky.

I mean what was with the orange hair and cheap looking expression weave on or the prom like dress and tacky be-jeweled shoes?

So how would i change her look, what would i do differently to give Vina a fresh new look without breaking the bank?






1. the dress in the pix says a million words, it shows that you are edgy and you are not afraid of colors, which Vina is..and it had her fave color...Orange..*yay*

Hair: simple...no lon-horse tailed human hair, rather we have something simple and clean with a cute hair accessory that matches the dress, although personally i am not a matchy-matchy person.
the purse is a nice shade of grey and the shoes have a spunky feel to it, i feel this look will work and i am so sure that she won't have to break the bank for this.

2. Look 2 is the boy shorts: this is also a simple yet classy look, nothing clingy like the look so many people are adopting now but casual yet sexy in a subtle way.

Now what will we do about her hair: i have a feeling that vina is not the type of girl who would do 2 long curtains hanging at the side of her hair in the form of human hair, i think an afro would work for her ...but then that's just me... am thinking like TY Bello....

it gives the appearance of youth and bohemian all mixed together, it spells non-regimented, free as a bird....

But like i said, that's just me

Fresh faced versus tired looking

I saw this picture of Genevieve recently and it brought back nostalgic feelings from the late '80's of fresh faced models advertising for different commercials[lux, joy soap]

I love this look on Genevieve because it potrays some sort of innocence, she looks really fresh faced and somewhat innocent in this picture.

Being fresh faced really inspires a lot of trust in people, it gives them the feeling that you can be trusted and you are as open as a book.

On the other hand, the babes in the long "Brazilian"weave just look tired and fake.



That's the problem with fake hair especially the cheap ones, they just end up making you look tacky.
